Reno's Garage Floor Epoxy Experts

A garage floor finished to the standard of the rest of your Reno home

In the Truckee Meadows, the garage works hard. It parks vehicles that have been baking on I-580, stores the gear for every Sierra weekend, and collects the fine high-desert dust that blows in off the valley. Bare concrete just soaks all of that up — it pits, it stains, and it never quite looks clean. A professionally installed epoxy floor coating ends that for good, giving you a seamless, sealed surface that wipes clean and looks finished from the moment you open the door.

We're a Carson City–based crew that has coated garages across Reno and Sparks for years, so we build for the conditions these floors actually face. Reno's swing from blistering summer asphalt to hard freeze-thaw winters is exactly what lifts cheap roll-on kits — hot tires soften and grab an under-prepped coating, and seasonal moisture works its way under anything that wasn't mechanically bonded to the slab. Our answer is the same on every job: grind the concrete properly, then build the floor up in coats that are made to stay down.

From the established slabs of the Old Southwest and Caughlin Ranch to newer builds in Damonte Ranch, Somersett, and Spanish Springs, we treat each garage as the finish line of the home it belongs to — floors masked, edges cut clean, and a walkthrough before we call it done. How We Work

Our Coating Process, Start to Finish

The difference between a Reno garage floor that lasts and one that peels within a season is almost never the product on the label — it's the preparation underneath it. Every floor we coat starts the same way, and that discipline is what lets the finish stand up to local heat, grit, and freeze-thaw.

1. Assess & test the slab. We look over your concrete for cracks, pitting, spalling, and prior coatings, and check for the slab moisture that can sabotage adhesion. Newer Reno-area builds need the concrete fully cured before we coat it.

2. Diamond-grind the surface. Rather than acid-etching, we mechanically diamond-grind the concrete to open its profile. That is what creates a true bond between the slab and the coating — the single biggest reason a professional floor outlasts a roll-on kit.

3. Repair cracks, pits & spalling. We fill and rebuild damaged areas so the finished floor is smooth and structurally sound underfoot, not just painted over.

4. Apply the base coat. The bonding coat is laid into the freshly ground, clean profile so it grips the concrete the way a topical coating never can.

5. Broadcast decorative flake, if chosen. Full-flake, partial-flake, or solid color — we build the look you want, with flake also adding hide and slip resistance.

6. Seal with a clear topcoat. A clear protective layer locks everything in, giving you the hard, non-porous, easy-clean surface that handles hot tires, oil, and grit. We hand the floor back with the specific cure and return-to-service windows for your garage.

Frequently Asked

Reno garage floor epoxy questions, answered

How much does a garage floor epoxy coating cost in Reno?

Cost depends on your garage's square footage, the condition of the existing concrete, how much crack and pit repair it needs, and the finish you choose. The biggest driver is prep — a diamond-ground floor takes more work than a quick roll-on, and it lasts far longer. We provide a written, itemized quote after seeing your Reno garage in person.

How long does a Reno garage floor coating take, and when can I park on it?

Most single- and two-car garages are ground, repaired, and coated within a couple of working days. After the final coat goes down, the floor needs time to cure before it bears weight — you can typically walk on it sooner than you can drive on it. We give you the specific return-to-service windows for your floor in the written estimate.

Do you coat garage floors in Sparks and Spanish Springs?

Yes. We coat garage floors throughout Reno, Sparks, Spanish Springs, Verdi, and the wider Truckee Meadows. Whether you're in a newer build out toward Wingfield Springs or an established home in the Old Southwest, tell us where you are and we'll get you on the schedule for a free on-site assessment.
